Jean and patches

Jeans and patches... two things that have gone together since the beginning of time. Spent the day touring a potential summer job location. It's a horse farm with fantastical views of lakes and rolling hills-all masked by the recent snowfall, of course.
Since spring break is almost here, I've been looking through my swimsuits (and dreading trying them back on for size). For clothing I was thinking striped T's, breezy kimonos, high-wasted shorts, and skimpy sundresses to show off sun kissed shoulders. I'm on the hunt for a pair of heeled sandals to traipse around in paired with my suit, a long cover-up, a ridiculously large sun hat, and obviously large shades.
Although the location of this getaway is still a surprise, I know it will be hot and beachy. Therefor my pasty skin will require lots of sunblock!
Breaking out my old copy of Return To Paradise seems appropriate as well.
Au Revoir!

Fresh to death

An unbelievable turn of events has lead me back to blogging. Formerly Liv of kissesfromakitten.blogspot.com, I'm reinvented. Not to mention I'm older and wiser. I think my style has grown along with me, and I'm swinging around full circle. I've had a recent surge of creativity and a renewed passion for life that I feel I must share. To me, there is nothing more vibrantly alive than one's style. I feel I must feed my creative urges as they are starting to blossom. So here is my blog, primarily a personal style blog-well, that's the plan anyway. I can't pretend to know the future but I do know that this will become whatever it may become, and that really I'm only along for the ride. Please enjoy as my trial and error teach and reteach me lessons on life, happiness, and the pursuit of the perfect outfit.
